Incredible Ban mi sandwich, great fresh spring rolls. Take out only during Covid. Lady working counter is good at what she does.

I used to come here for spring rolls, but one day, I noticed I could get sandwiches here, too. My guy and I are obsessed with bahn mi, so I ordered a couple of the BBQ pork variety and spring rolls to enjoy at home. Such flavor! Such freshness! And that bread...crunchy edges but side inside, just the way it's meant to be. Don't get me started on the matcha smoothies. They're my dirty little secret treat after a hard workout. Get the boba.

Great Bánh mì, skip the egg rolls

If you've never tried a Vietnamese sandwich, you are in for a real treat! The bread here is fresh an delicious, and thr fillings are tasty too. Try the BBQ pork(#6). Or the special (#1).Service is always polite and quick too!

Superior bread on the banh mi. Flavorful meats on the thit nuong and nem nuong sandwiches. Fresh ingredients although not one of the larger in size. Engaging owner. Limited snacks.

Forget Cali baguette. Pork sandwiches are the bomb here (I add an egg to make it even better). The other sandwiches not so much.

Had the BBQ pork sandwich, it was really tasty. Pork was tender, veg nice and crunchy, just the right amount of heat from the jalapeño. Milk coffee was strong but not bitter which is how I like it.

I'm trying to understand how this isn't a five star location. The woman up at the front is always welcoming and helpful and even the one other gentleman who isn't as fluent in English still makes an attempt to take care of all his customers. The sandwiches are actually meaty delicious and stuffed with vegetables. Every single time I have come here, no fail to come on time or to receive my food without hassle. :) That's what people want right ? Reliability and deliciousness.

enjoyed their sandwiches and smoothies. i think their ticket items are excellent. but what i like the most is their fried shrimp tray. it's delicious and crispy. very popular on parties and event. it goes pretty quickly.

Yummy VietFrench sandwich. Barbeque pork sandwich is excellent. Also, get there around 8 AM for yummy tradition Vietnamese street food. Good price too. No photo I already ate everything.

Best banh mi I've had in Mira Mesa. Many options to choose from, and the service is very quick and friendly. Get the Dac Biet, it will not disappoint.

Fast service, great prices, tasty food. A large selection of beverages too. One of my favorite lunch spots.

Had #8 meatball sandwich. It was amazing! Wonderful bread, great crunchy vegetables, 33 different smoothies.

Boba texture was soft and delicious. Banana smoothie tasted strongly like real banana! Banh MI slapped too, but I wish it's distribution of meat to veggies was more balanced so you can get both in one bite.

A fair amount of seating considering how small the actual shop is. Great prices for what you get - $4.25 for a sandwich and $1.40 for 2 chicken eggrolls at the time of this writing. Fast and friendly service and I was pleasantly surprised about how fresh everything was. The sandwiches have all of the requisite ingredients - a little mayo, pickled carrot and daikon, cilantro, cucumber, jalepeno, and pate (often missing from sandwiches from other places). Eggroll and baguette were very fresh. Would try another sandwich there (and more eggrolls)

Best banh mi and boba in SD

Been going here since they opened up! Good friendly peeps with real Viet people cooking/prepping in the back 😂 bread is always crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside as well as a good meat to veggie ratio. They don't skimp, but great balance which leads to a light but filling meal that doesn't bog you down.

We love all the fruit smoothies and sandwiches are delicious as well as the egg rolls. The owners are amazing the place is nice and clean.

Tried the BBQ Pork sandwich on the recommendation of the woman working the counter. Phenomenal! Will be back. The milk coffee was great too.

A great little shop tucked away behind a Big Lots. The service was fast, the bread fresh with amazing pickles in the sandwiches. Their fried egg rolls we're great! Definitely going back!

I got the banh mi thit nuong, banh mi Cha lua, and nem nuoung cuon. So good! Always friendly service and fast. Everything is good quality and well done. My favorite place to get banh mi.

Friendly service and bigger sandwich than other places in Mira Mesa. Bigger and spacious parking, as well as convienently located right behind H-Mart. Will come again after my grocery trips!

Stopped by for a sandwich at lunch. Service was good, and turn around was reasonable as well. Probably in and out in less than 10 minutes. The Vietnamese coffee is great, strong, dark, and not too much condensed milk. Nice twist on the egg rolls using ground chicken. As always, I ordered the #1 - Dac Biet - with extra meat because i'm a fatty,everywhere i go. The bread looks like it may be a bit much, but surprisingly fresh and light. All the ingredients were the precise portions to make this sandwich 5 stars. Looking forward to coming back to try more. -Note they also do catering entrees (See my photos).

Such a wide variety of boba teas and smoothies. My daughter had the strawberry and I had the milk coffee both with boba. They were really good! I was even asked if ice was okay with mine and they used the right amount (unlike other places). I saw they had banh mi and other foods fresh packaged and ready to go! It looked good and many people stopped in just to pickup. So we will have to also give it a try on our next visit.

Best banh mi I've had so far. Good steamed buns, but they could use a sauce of some kind.
